This diverse trail follows the Levada do Alecrim through varying terrains including lush forested areas and open landscapes offering expansive views. The path is generally flat and well-maintained, making it accessible for most walkers, though there are sections with steep drops and uneven surfaces.
The trail is renowned for its series of stunning lakes and views:
- Lagoa do Vento: A secluded lake reached by a descending path, known for its serene beauty and dramatic waterfalls.
